Important information regarding Covid-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 presents one of biggest health challenges this country has faced for many years.

We know this is a worrying time for everyone today, not least for the older and more vulnerable members of our society.

Our carers deliver essential care to service users and offer support and guidance to help stay safe, physically and mentally active and well at home. They will also provide support with shopping and picking up medication and provide help and support to ensure our clients keep connected with family and friends remotely through technology.

We continue to work hard throughout the crisis to ensure that our Service users get the support they need and deserve during these difficult times and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our carers as frontline workers delivering care at home.

We are following the Government’s guidance on delivering home care to ensure that we are minimising the risk of spreading the illness and still providing our vital service to clients so that they can stay safe and well at home.

We have in place a rigid policy of personal protection equipment(PPE) and robust hygiene and infection control to ensure the safety of both clients and Carers.

Our team is working hard to continually monitor and respond to the developments around COVID-19. We are working closely with the Care Quality Commission, Essex County Council and Government.

We also continue to follow direction provided by the UK’s Public Health Authorities and World Health Organisation and keep a close eye on the situation.

Everything we do is always with the wellbeing of our clients, and carer staff who are foremost in our minds at this difficult time.
