Before the care team came into my father's life, he was often sad, lonely, and frustrated as he tried to navigate the challenges of living with dementia. From the moment they started, everything changed. They didn't just provide care - they truly scooped him up, befriended him, and offered the daily support and reassurance he so desperately needed in a world that can feel uncertain and overwhelming.
They cheer him up, make him laugh, and bring lightness into his days. In difficult moments, they deal with emergencies calmly and with great common sense, giving us as a family real peace of mind. Most importantly, they never forget that my dad is a person with his own aims, interests, and dignity - not just a client.

Every carer who visited my Mum treated her with the utmost respect. They never hurried her and were always encouraging. They paid her compliments and remembered her on her birthday and at Christmas with gifts and cards.
The carers were supportive of the whole family often going above and beyond. They were amazing when things took a downward turn, giving sound advice regarding Mums ongoing care. On occasions when an ambulance was required they took charge relieving family of that additional stress.

We have been using this company for the last 3 months for my mum. I cannot express in words how well they look after her and how much more relaxed i am knowing the same staff are checking in twice a day and reporting back to me. The app they use so that we can see how she is following each visit is so very helpful. Recently on arrival in the morning, mum was struggling to breath, the quick action and care given, calling the emergency services and staying with her until they and myself had managed to arrive, can not be commended enough. I would without doubt with total confidence recommend this company.
Total commitment by the Carers in providing a professional and efficient service. All needs were met including some that were not on the care plan. My family were more than happy with the service provided.

The service and care they give is outstanding from the moment I phoned to see what care they can provide I knew straight away they were the ones for my amazing mother in law. We never got a carer we didn’t know and always made my mother in law feel at ease you really can’t get any better care than Personal Choice thank you all so much, we will forever be grateful for the care and compassion you gave her.
I cannot praise this agency enough. It is all about the customer and not the business. The owner/managers are all hands-on, whilst the small team of dedicated carers are professional, gentle, caring, intuitive, sympathetic and supportive. They build a wonderful bond with the individual, and I have complete peace of mind that my loved one is well looked after and treated with dignity.
Using Personal Choice has made such a big difference for myself and my mother's overall wellbeing. The care provided is of such a high standard, all of the staff are really lovely and kind. I honestly couldn't have asked for more, they have provided a service which I cannot fault in any way at all.

No person likes losing their independence but they have provided reassurance and patient and thoughtful support at a difficult time.
I am the daughter of the service user but I am the person who employed the agency above. Management and staff really do care for and understand what is required and I believe on occasions go beyond their call of duty which is greatly appreciated. Communication is paramount in the care of the service user and this is exemplary between carer to carer/management and me.
I have found that all the care staff are very friendly, helpful, caring and professional in their care and the support they give my mum. My mum looks forward to the carers coming to see her as they treat her totally with dignity and have a good sense of humour, which leaves my mum very happy for the day. Myself and the rest of the family are very happy with the care and support they give Mum.
I feel very relaxed and at ease with my carers. They always do everything which is needed and still ask if there is anything else that I would like them to do, nothing seems too much bother for them. They seem happy to do it.

Personal choice carers have looked after my mum for the last ten years due to her Dementia. My mum's Dementia has progressed leading to her going into a nursing home. Whilst supported by Personal Choice, mum was able to stay in her own home longer than most, which is a testament to this care agency. The agency is well run by the manager, and I cannot recommend them enough as they have always been excellent throughout this time, reliable and trustworthy. My mum loved all the staff and they treated her with great care, kindness, dignity and compassion.
Personal Choice Carers at Home have been caring for my mum, who has dementia, since the beginning of September this year. The manager and her team are excellent, so supportive, caring and always very punctual. Mum is enjoying her visits and we, as a family, are so grateful to have found them
